About this product
The bickering landlords from Man About The House, George & Mildred Roper, are on the move, allowing Mildred a chance to climb the social ladder & purchase a house in middle suburbia. Forever striving to rise to their new surroundings, Mildred is constantly betrayed by George and his working class roots. Equally dismayed are their new neighbours, headed by the snooty Jeffrey Fourmile, who fears he'll be forever "knee deep in ferrets & pigeon droppings"!
Premiering 5 months after Man About The House came to an end, George & Mildred would go on to greater fame and huge audience numbers, becoming a firm favourite with the public to this day. This 7 disc set includes all 5 series, plus the 1980 Feature Film plus 2 audio commentaries with series star Brian Murphy.
