About this product
Exclusive 2026 Re- Issues of the first 3 albums by Blancmange : Happy Families (originally out 1982), Mange Tout (originally out 1984) & Believe You Me (originally out 1985).
These three albums have not been available as standalone products since the 1980s – London Records previously released in 2019 the 3 Vinyls as expanded Lps only within a limited LP box set “The Blanc Tapes”
First released in September 1982, Happy Families was the debut album from UK synth pop duo Blancmange. This new edition features restored artwork, and a new 2026 vinyl cut, pressed on clear orange vinyl.
The single ‘Living on the Ceiling’ became the duo’s biggest track to date reaching number 7 on the UK charts, alongside singles ‘Feel Me’ and ‘Waves’. The album stayed in the UK charts for 30 weeks.
