Hey Country Queen (Red Vinyl)

“One of 2025’s most promising artists” Mackenzie Carpenter makes her full-length debut with Hey Country Queen. Co-writing all 13 tracks, this bold and personal project highlights Mackenzie’s inherent ability to blend fun-loving humor with deep, full-hearted sincerity.

“This album mirrors the emotional highs and lows we all experience, especially as girls in our 20s. I want listeners to walk away knowing there’s a song for any place in life they’re currently in – whether that’s a heartbreak song or a female power anthem,” shares Mackenzie. “That’s why I wanted to title the album after ‘Country Queen.’ It’s my way of saying ‘It’ll all be okay. Wear your crown and be yourself—and if they can’t handle it, just pick up the pieces and move on.’”

Though Hey Country Queen marks the first full-length album of Mackenzie’s young career, she has been solidifying her reputation as a gifted songwriter for years. With standout cuts like Megan Moroney’s “I’m Not Pretty,” “Indifferent,” “28th of June” and Lily Rose’s No. 1 hit “Villain,” Carpenter has long been celebrated for her clever lyricism. Recently featured on coveted lists like MusicRow’s Next Big Thing Artists Class Of 2025, she unleashes the full extent of her talent throughout Hey Country Queen. Whether she’s laying down a stadium-sized anthem or a heart-melting ballad, the rising singer/songwriter proves the enormous power in uncovering your messiest emotions
