About this product
When Jokers And Queens first united Jon English and Marcia Hines, it captured a moment when two of Australia’s most charismatic performers met in perfect creative balance. Jon’s theatrical storytelling and emotional power weave effortlessly with Marcia’s soulful clarity, creating performances that feel vibrant, playful, and deeply heartfelt.
This album is more than a duet collection, it is a musical dialogue built on chemistry, trust, and sheer joy in performance. This newly remastered edition brings fresh life to those recordings, revealing details that remind us why this pairing resonated so strongly with audiences. Every harmony sparkles, every exchange carries warmth and personality, and the spirit of collaboration shines through.
Revisiting Jokers and Queens is like stepping into a timeless conversation between two artists at the height of their craft; spirited, elegant, and alive. It remains a celebration of musical partnership and a reminder of the magic that happens when great voices meet and simply play.
