About this product
John Woo’s seminal action classic The Killer joins the Imprint Asia collection on 4K UHD & Blu-ray!
A Golden Princess triumph, this revenge-driven, explosive hit stars Chow Yun-fat, Danny Lee, and Sally Yeh, and is said to have been heavily influential on many Hollywood directors, including Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez.
Mob assassin Jeffrey is no ordinary hired gun. The best in his business, he views his chosen profession as a calling rather than simply a job. So, when beautiful nightclub chanteuse Jennie is blinded in the crossfire of his most recent hit, Jeffrey chooses to retire after one last job to pay for his unintended victim’s sight-restoring operation. But when Jeffrey is double-crossed, he reluctantly joins forces with a rogue policeman to make things right.
This special release features an exclusive embossed SteelBook with the film remastered on 4K UHD and Blu-ray from the original 35mm negative, a bonus Blu-ray filled with special features, and a 60-page Hardback Booklet with production stills and brand NEW essays, all housed in a Lid Hardbox.
