About this product
Another volume of 20 super Australian hits from the vaults of the Fable, Image, Bootleg and Avenue Records.
The big hits by artists such as Colleen Hewett, Brian Cadd and The Mixtures along with singles by influential Australian Rock groups Kevin Borich Express, Ariel and Jimmy & The Boys.
As with the first volume, this CD collects 'cover versions' of popular British singles that were not played on Australian radio ('In The Summertime', 'Knock Knock Who's There' and George Harrison's 'For You Blue') and original Australian compositions such as 'Wangaratta Wahine', 'Captain Captain' and 'Lady Scorpio'.
Fantastic memories of 70s and early 80s radio.
