About this product
"For over two decades, Murs has been hip-hop’s most charismatic everyman—equal parts philosopher, battle-tested emcee, and West Coast griot. Now, with Love & Rockets 3:16 (The Emancipation), the third and final chapter in his Love & Rockets trilogy, he takes his final bow. Produced entirely by Grammy-winning producer Jesse Shatkin (Sia, Rihanna), the album is a grand finale, a reflection on a storied career marked by honesty, humor, and razor-sharp lyricism.
With a title that nods to both his classic Murs 3:16 and his personal liberation, The Emancipation finds the LA icon in peak form, spitting with the urgency of an artist laying his legacy in stone. From sun-soaked storytelling to introspective anthems, Murs crafts a sendoff worthy of his legendary status. This isn’t just a goodbye—it’s a celebration of a career built on raw truth and relentless passion."
