About this product
Love In Bright Landscapes is the inspiring, intimate life story of David McComb, cult Australian singer/songwriter, and driving force behind the great Australian band of the 80s, The Triffids.
Love in Bright Landscapes reveals the man behind the music; cementing McComb's status as a quintessentially Australian artist. The tragedy and triumph of his driven, passionate life is brought to the screen via music, poetry and letters (read by author DBC Pierre) and unseen family-archive. Evocative home movies and heart-rending interviews with musicians, friends and family are all inter-twined around 74 of McComb's original songs.
