Matching head and footboard details give the Majorca Custom Timber Bed Frame Oak a strong sense of proportion. Each end combines a broad timber panel with an open horizontal section beneath the upper rail, adding a light break to the substantial shape. Straight posts frame the panels and continue into the legs, creating a bed that has the presence of traditional timber furniture with a clean, modern outline.

The raised footboard makes a feature of the oak at the end of the bed and helps conceal under-bed storage from that angle. Solid Victorian Ash Oak framing brings strength to the structure, while veneer centre panels present the grain across its larger surfaces. Beneath the mattress, solid pine slats form a substantial foundation, with the selected leg clearance determining how much open space remains below the side rails.

Choose Single, King Single, Double, Queen, King or Super King to suit your mattress and room. For dimensions outside the listed range, send us your measurements for a personalised quote.

Set the clearance.
Choose 5cm, 10cm, 15cm, 20cm, 25cm, 30cm or 35cm beneath the side rails. This follows the exposed leg height, from the floor to the bottom of the rail, so you can picture the space available for cleaning or suitable storage boxes. Lower settings give the bed a more grounded stance; taller settings open up the space below. The 25cm, 30cm and 35cm options carry an additional charge.

Choose your finish.
A natural-looking shade brings out the grain across Majorca’s panels, while a richer stain gives the upright posts and open upper rails a stronger silhouette.

Tinted lacquer: Choose from a wide range of oak colours, from light, natural-looking shades to warm browns and deeper tones. The lacquer colours and seals the timber with a smooth protective coating; black and white finishes are available at an additional cost.

Livos Kunos natural oil upgrade: Livos Kunos Natural Oil Sealer uses natural oils including linseed oil to deepen the grain and create a water-resistant finish with a satin sheen. Livos describes its natural coatings as “chemical-free”; for an allergy-conscious choice, its fully declared ingredients help you check suitability for individual sensitivities.

Natural differences in grain and tone give each oak bed its own character, so the same finish can vary subtly between pieces.

Strong Framing, Thoughtful Panel Detail

Solid Victorian Ash Oak frames the headboard and footboard, with timber veneer centre panels completing their broad surfaces. The solid oak surrounds provide a clearly defined structure, while the veneer panels showcase the grain within them. The side rails, legs and supporting timber framework are also solid Victorian Ash Oak.

Heavy-duty solid pine slats form a firm supporting base, with gaps for airflow beneath the mattress. The support system is matched to the bed size:

• Slat dimensions: 90mm wide × 35mm thick, with approximately 70mm between slats.
• Single and Double: 11 solid pine slats, without centre support as standard.
• King Single: 12 solid pine slats, without centre support as standard.
• Queen: 12 solid pine slats with centre support beneath them.
• King and Super King: 12 solid pine slats with centre support and two additional support legs reaching the floor.
• Optional reinforcement: Heavy-duty centre support can be added to Single, King Single and Double when ordering.
• Combined weight capacity: Up to 380kg for Double, Queen, King and Super King bases.
