The Majorca Custom Timber Bed Frame pairs a tall headboard with a raised footboard, giving the bed a complete, defined silhouette from either end. Broad timber panels are topped by open horizontal gaps beneath slender upper rails, allowing light through the design while keeping the warmth and presence of solid pine. Upright posts continue down into the legs, bringing the matching head and foot ends together with a clean, balanced rhythm.

The higher footboard gives Majorca more enclosure than an open-ended frame and helps screen the view of storage placed underneath from the foot of the bed. Its solid New Zealand Pine construction and thick supporting slats provide strength for everyday use, while a choice of under-bed clearances lets you balance the height of the frame with the space you want below. Natural grain and knots give the broad panels their individual character.

Start with the size.
Choose Single, King Single, Double, Queen, King or Super King to suit your mattress and room. For dimensions outside the listed range, send us your measurements for a personalised quote.

Set the clearance.
Choose 5cm, 10cm, 15cm, 20cm, 25cm, 30cm or 35cm beneath the side rails. This follows the exposed leg height, from the floor to the bottom of the rail, so you can picture the space available for cleaning or suitable storage boxes. Lower settings give the bed a more grounded stance; taller settings open up the space below. The 25cm, 30cm and 35cm options carry an additional charge.

Choose your finish.
A natural-looking shade brings out the grain across Majorca’s panels, while a richer stain gives the upright posts and open upper rails a stronger silhouette.

Tinted lacquer: Choose from a wide range of pine colours, from light, natural-looking shades to warm browns and deeper tones. The lacquer colours and seals the timber with a smooth protective coating; black and white finishes are available at an additional cost.

Natural knots, grain patterns and differences in tone are part of solid pine’s character. The same stain can show subtle variations across the headboard, rails and foot end.

Strong Framing, Thoughtful Panel Detail

Majorca is made entirely from solid New Zealand Pine, including the headboard, footboard, side rails, legs and structural frame. The pine headboard is solid timber, with no veneer panels, giving the bed consistent material quality throughout.

Heavy-duty solid pine slats form a firm supporting base, with gaps for airflow beneath the mattress. The support system is matched to the bed size:

• Slat dimensions: 90mm wide × 35mm thick, with approximately 70mm between slats.
• Single and Double: 11 solid pine slats, without centre support as standard.
• King Single: 12 solid pine slats, without centre support as standard.
• Queen: 12 solid pine slats with centre support beneath them.
• King and Super King: 12 solid pine slats with centre support and two additional support legs reaching the floor.
