The elongated shape of this Neodymium cylinder magnet coupled with its small diameter produces a highly concentrated magnetic field through each of the end surfaces. This is a specialty magnet produced from N42 SH material lending it resistance to high temperatures and superior magnetic power. Able to withstand temperatures up to 150º Celsius, this magnet is used in industrial and commercial operations involving heat treatment or prolonged heat exposure that would reduce the effect of lower grade Neodymium material.
