The Nirvana Custom Timber Oak Wood Bed Frame brings the warmth of traditional timber furniture to a clean, well-proportioned design. Its broad rectangular headboard gives the natural grain room to stand out, while straight side rails meet a low footboard to create a defined timber outline around the mattress. The legs taper towards the floor, adding a subtle mid-century character and balancing the generous headboard with a lighter-looking base.

Behind its clean lines, a solid Victorian Ash Oak frame and substantial pine slats provide the strength and support for everyday use. With its open space underneath and simple, angular shape, Nirvana makes a feature of the timber without adding unnecessary bulk.

Make Your Nirvana

Start with the size.
Choose Single, King Single, Double, Queen, King or Super King to suit your mattress and the space available in your bedroom. For dimensions outside the standard range, send us your measurements and our team will prepare a personalised quote.

Two mattress configurations.
With the recessed option, your mattress sits 2cm down inside the frame, leaving a visible timber border that highlights the oak and gives the base a more substantial look. Alternatively, choose a flush fit to align the mattress edges with the base, creating a clean, streamlined outline without an exposed timber border.

Set the clearance.
Choose your preferred leg height to set the gap between the floor and the bottom of the bed’s side rails. Shorter legs give Nirvana a lower profile, while taller legs raise the frame and leave more room for cleaning underneath.

Choose your finish.

Tinted lacquer: Available in a wide range of colours, from light, natural-looking shades to rich browns, this finish adds colour and seals the timber with a smooth protective coating.

Livos Kunos natural oil: An optional linseed oil-based finish that deepens the timber’s colour and grain, creating a water-resistant surface with a satin sheen that can be refreshed over time. This finish gives you a low-VOC, allergy friendly finish keeping your bedroom chemical-free.

Natural variations in grain and tone give each Nirvana its own character, so the same stain will show subtle differences from one bed to the next.

What Goes Into Your Bed

A timber veneer headboard panel framed in solid Victorian Ash Oak gives Nirvana a beautifully defined centrepiece, complemented by solid oak side rails, legs and a low footboard that carry the timber’s warmth and character throughout the bed.

Beneath the mattress, heavy-duty solid pine slats provide a substantial supporting base, with gaps between them allowing airflow underneath. Larger sizes include additional centre support, as detailed below:
