The Pioneer TS-G160C-2 is a 6.5-inch two-way component speaker system designed as an affordable upgrade for compatible factory car speakers. Separate woofers and tweeters provide greater installation flexibility than coaxial speakers, allowing the high frequencies to be positioned for improved clarity and stereo imaging. Mica-reinforced IMPP composite woofer cones support responsive midbass and clear midrange reproduction with reduced distortion. Rated at 45 watts nominal and 300 watts maximum music power, the system can operate from a compatible factory or aftermarket car stereo and may also be paired with a modest external amplifier.
