Praga Pine: A Simple Look with Generous Storage Below

The Praga is a good fit when you want useful bedroom storage without a bulky-looking frame. A neat, plain headboard and clean pine lines keep the design relaxed, while long drawers beneath the mattress give you room to organise spare bedding and other essentials. The solid pine frame adds warmth and natural character to the room.

This version has the long-drawer layout. Rather than dividing the space into several small drawers, it gives you a generous compartment along each available side, with floor wheels that let the drawer roll out for access.

Choose the Right Drawer Layout

• Double to Super King: one long drawer on each side.
• Single and King Single: one long drawer on your chosen left or right side—confirm the side when ordering.
• Standard internal drawer space: 141cm wide × 55cm deep × 21cm high.
• Single and Double sit-flush builds: drawer width is 126cm, with the same 55cm depth and 21cm height.

Allow enough space beside the bed to roll the drawers out. Matching Praga bedsides, dressers and tallboys are available to bring the room together.

Solid Pine, Made to Suit Your Room

The frame, headboard and footboard where fitted are solid New Zealand pine, with no veneer. Natural grain and knots give each bed its own character. Choose from the available pine stain colours and tinted lacquer finishes to find the tone that works with your flooring and furniture.

How Would You Like Your Mattress to Sit?

Sit flush: the mattress rests on top of the frame, with no raised retaining lip along the rails or footend. Sit inside 2cm: the mattress sits 2cm down within the frame. Select your preferred fit when ordering.

Support You Can Rely On

Solid pine slats measure 90mm × 35mm with 70mm spacing. Queen includes centre support; King and Super King add two support legs to the floor. Single, King Single and Double have no centre support as standard, with heavy-duty support available by request. Double through Super King have a combined weight capacity of 380kg.
