Recast double sofa bed with walnut arms - innovation living

Contemporary Danish Design

The Recast Plus Sofa Bed with Walnut Arms is a timeless Scandinavian design inspired by the international Mid-Century Modern movement. Designed by Per Weiss, the Recast combines clean lines, premium materials and exceptional functionality, making it the ideal sofa bed for modern apartments, guest rooms and living spaces.

Its distinctive walnut arms, dark lacquered oak legs and sleek matt black steel frame create an elegant look that complements both contemporary and classic interiors. Available in a wide range of premium, upholstery fabrics.

The Recast collection also includes a matching chair and ottoman, allowing you to create a coordinated living room. Pair the ottoman with the sofa to form a relaxing chaise lounge, or combine it with the chair to create a practical sofa bed.

Exceptional Comfort for Sitting and Sleeping

Designed for everyday use, the Recast offers genuine mattress comfort whether used as a sofa or a bed. Its premium Pocket Spring comfort system provides excellent body support, pressure relief and breathability, making it ideal for regular overnight sleeping as well as everyday lounging.

Pocket Spring Mattress

The Recast features Innovation Living's premium Pocket Spring Mattress. Individual pocket springs respond independently to body weight, providing superior support in both seating and sleeping positions while reducing pressure points.

The mattress construction includes:

✔ Premium upholstery fabric
✔ Fibertex protective layer
✔ Soft fibrefill comfort layer
✔ High resilient comfort foam
✔ 10 cm individually pocketed spring core
✔ High resilient support foam
✔ Fibertex base layer

The high resilient foam enhances breathability while providing a supportive yet comfortable feel. The foam is certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, meaning it has been independently tested for harmful substances and meets strict international safety standards.

Transforms into a Comfortable Double Bed

The Recast Plus easily converts from a stylish three-seat sofa into a spacious 140 x 200 cm double bed within seconds.

Simply remove the back cushions, pull the seat forward and fold the backrest down to create a generous sleeping surface suitable for two adults. When used without unfolding, the sofa also functions as a comfortable single sleeper.

A practical built-in bedding storage box keeps quilts, pillows and blankets neatly stored away, making it ideal for compact living and guest accommodation.
