Press the brass touch switch on the gold-stamped base and the ROKR Hammerhead Shark powers up - laser snout flashing, electroreceptor lights breathing along the head, and the 4-segment S-tail tracking in motion. A 122-piece biomechanical model in silver-green metal armor with gun-gray accents. ~2-hour build, runs on 3 AAA batteries.
Hit the brass start button on the gold-stamped round base and the lights begin their cycle: flickering awakening mode, then a slow pulse cruise rhythm, then a rapid flash combat sequence. The laser snout strobes from the T-shaped sensor head while electroreceptor lights breathe along the sides - a nod to the Ampullae of Lorenzini, the real sensory organs hammerheads use to detect prey. Behind it, a planetary gear-style 11,000 RPM reduction motor drives the motion smoothly enough that the 4-segment S-tail tracks like a swimming shark. The 122 metal-and-plastic pieces assemble through mortise-and-tenon joints in about 2 hours, finished in a low-pressure cold spray of silver-green and gun-gray that gives the armor its rugged read.
