Briggs's Sheplife is a must have record in Australian music history.
Talking about the lives of First Nations communities, regional communities, and the all too common misconceptions that comes with being from both, Sheplife stands alone.
"They call 'em good for nothing - I call 'em cousin/ I call 'em brother and sister, I still love 'em." - Briggs.
Born and raised in Shepparton, square in the floodplains of Victoria's North East rivers, It has taken Briggs no less than a decade to make his mark as one of the country's most diverse talents in media, music and comedy.
Senator Briggs, as he is affectionately known, is one of the biggest influences on Australian hip hop and culture.
His sound, story and influence has sprawled into every facet of the Australian zeitgeist.
SHEPLIFE was a shift in his musical direction, it was a mature diversion into a space that talked about the lives of First Nations communties, regional communities and the all too common misconceptions that comes with ebing from both.
SHEPLIFE is a must have record in the history of Australian music.
