Technical Details
The Sigma 12mm f/1.4 DC Contemporary Lens, specifically designed for APS-C Canon RF-mount cameras, offers a 19.2mm full-frame equivalent wide-angle view. This makes it a prime choice for landscape, street, indoor photography, and vlogging. The lens boasts a fast f/1.4 aperture, providing the ability to create a beautiful background blur and perform exceptionally in low-light conditions. Its reliable autofocus minimises focus breathing, ensuring crisp and clear images. Despite its compact and lightweight design, this lens houses three double-sided aspherical elements to diminish distortion and enhance sharpness, along with two SLD elements to curb chromatic aberration and colour fringing. Measuring 20% shorter than the Sigma 16mm f/1.4, it's ideally suited for handheld video, travel photography, and effortless portability.
