Overview
The Sky-Watcher AZ-EQ5 Pier Tripod is a robust and versatile support system designed to accommodate the AZ-EQ5 mount head for mid-range telescope OTAs. Constructed with a sturdy tripod base and a pier extension, it provides enhanced stability and flexibility during observations. The pier extension elevates the mount head above the tripod legs, allowing precise polar alignment at almost any latitude, which is especially useful for equatorial tracking and astrophotography. This design ensures minimal vibration, secure mounting, and reliable performance in a variety of observing conditions. Ideal for both visual observing and imaging applications.
