Some Kind Of Alchemy (Transparent Blue Vinyl)

‘Some Kind of Alchemy’ is Sydney trio Mansionair's hugely anticipated third record, following the success of 2022’s Happiness Guaranteed.

The record is a meditation on the full breadth of human connection, where relationships act as mirrors, revealing both the beauty and fragility of human emotions through recurring imagery of fire, magnetism, and gravitational cycles.

It delves into the intricate nature of relationships and their profound ability to forge and reshape us. It reflects the duality of emotional experience—existing within the balance of desire and distance, struggle and support, the friction in holding on and the quiet fracture of letting go.

At its core, the album embraces the idea of living peacefully in that liminal space and suggests that we grow only in the presence of others, shaped by moments of comfort and collapse.
