The Slim Cat6 Patch Cord is 36% thinner than standard Cat6 Ethernet cables, enabling greater airflow and heat dissipation in confined spaces. The Slim Cat6 Ethernet cable is also more flexible, for easier cable routing in crowded network racks and patch panels.

This cable features snagless connectors that protect the RJ45 clips during installation, reducing snags or breakage when routing through narrow gaps or in between devices.

The Slim Cat6 Cable features 50-micron gold RJ45 contacts that ensure a precise fit to minimise wear and signal loss. The 4-pair Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) construction utilises 28AWG Pure Bare Copper Wire for improved conductivity and low resistance. The flexible Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) flame-retardant jacket emits low smoke and toxic fumes when exposed to extreme heat or in the event of a fire. This enables safer installations in poorly-ventilated areas including some industrial settings, self-contained environments such as trains and aircraft, as well as residential settings where compliance with building codes must be considered.
