About this product
Katrina does what she wants. When she wants. Manicured and manipulative, the teenage mother exists in a world defined by petty crime, seduction, sex, fast cars, and suburban mayhem. With her beloved brother Danny in prison for murder and John, her father, concerned about Katrina neglecting the baby, it’s time for the nineteen-year-old to do something… Pitch-black Australian comedy SUBURBAN MAYHEM features breakout performances from Michael Dorman (Triangle) and Mia Wasikowska (Crimson Peak), is packed to the rafters with bogans, burnouts, and bourbon benders. Nominated for twelve AFI awards and winning three, including best score for composer Mick Harvey (Chopper), this critically acclaimed portrait of youth on the loose infiltrates the bleak and bizarre world of sex, drugs, lies, and muscle cars in the otherwise mundane outskirts of society. Can you really get away with murder?"
