Sunny four poster custom timber frame oak wood

Sunny Four Poster Custom Timber Frame Oak Wood

A Four-Poster with an Open, Modern Feel.

The Sunny Four Poster Custom Timber Frame in Victorian Ash Oak creates a clear outline around your bed without filling the space with heavy panels. Four straight posts meet an open rectangular top, while the low base keeps the design grounded. The warm grain of the oak softens those clean lines, giving this modern four-poster a strong presence without elaborate decoration.

Sunny’s lower headboard keeps the focus on the full frame, with much of the panel sitting behind the mattress and pillows. The solid oak structure and substantial pine slats provide everyday support, while the open space above the bed lets the four-poster shape stand out against your room.

Plan Your Sunny

Choose your size.
Available in Single, King Single, Double, Queen, King and Super King. For a custom size, send us your mattress measurements and available room space for a personalised quote.

Choose your base height.
Keep the low profile shown in the standard drawing, or select 5cm or 10cm under-bed clearance. Clearance is the open space from the floor to the underside of the side rail, so a raised option leaves more room to reach underneath for cleaning.

Choose your finish.
Tinted lacquer: Choose from light, natural-looking shades, warm mid-tones and deeper colours. The tinted lacquer adds colour and seals the timber with a smooth protective coating, while natural variations in grain give each bed its own character.

Livos Kunos natural oil upgrade: Livos Kunos Natural Oil Sealer uses natural oils, including linseed oil, to deepen the timber’s colour and grain and create a water-resistant finish. Livos describes its coatings as “chemical-free”; if you need an allergy-friendly finish, ask us for the ingredient information to check against your individual sensitivities.

Check the Space Before You Order

These are the external frame dimensions for the standard Sunny design. The drawing shows an overall height of 198cm and a 100cm headboard height. Ask our team for the Super King measurements or a drawing for any custom changes.

• Single: 101cm wide × 203cm long.
• King Single: 116cm wide × 218cm long.
• Double: 146cm wide × 203cm long.
• Queen: 162cm wide × 218cm long.
• King: 192cm wide × 218cm long.
• Super King: 212cm wide × 218cm long.

One Piece or Split for Easier Access

Choose the one-piece or split option in the Four Poster Side Panel Type selector. Splitting the frame can make it easier to move the large sections through narrow hallways, lifts and tight stair turns before assembly in the bedroom. The selected option shows the current extra charge; send us your access measurements so our team can confirm the right arrangement.
