The Sunny Four Poster Custom Timber Frame brings the height and presence of a four-poster to a simple solid pine design. Straight posts and overhead rails form an open rectangle, balanced by a low base and a modest headboard. With no tall panel at the foot, the view across the bed stays open, making the frame feel spacious despite its striking shape.

The Sunny pairs a low headboard with tall timber posts for a four-poster look that feels open and relaxed. Once the bed is dressed, the headboard sits quietly behind your pillows, letting the timber frame stand out. Made to order in Australia, it offers a choice of sizes and timber finishes to suit your room and personal style.

Choose your size.
Available in Single, King Single, Double, Queen, King and Super King. For a custom size, send us your mattress measurements and available room space for a personalised quote.

Choose your base height.
Keep the low profile shown in the standard drawing with 1cm clearance, or select 5cm or 10cm under-bed clearance. Clearance is the open space from the floor to the underside of the side rail, so a raised option leaves more room to reach underneath for cleaning.

Choose your finish.
Tinted lacquer: Choose from light, natural-looking shades, warm mid-tones and deeper colours. The tinted lacquer adds colour and seals the timber with a smooth protective coating, while natural variations in grain give each bed its own character.

These are the external frame dimensions for the standard Sunny design. The drawing shows an overall height of 198cm and a 100cm headboard height. Ask our team for the Super King measurements or a drawing for any custom changes.

Slat Configuration

Single & Double: 11 solid pine slats (9cm x 3.5cm), with approximately 7cm spacing between each slat.
Queen, King & Super King: 12 solid pine slats (9cm x 3.5cm), with approximately 7cm spacing between each slat.

Plan the Delivery Route

Sunny Pine uses the standard one-piece construction. Check the size of the large assembled sections against your doorways, hallways, lift and stair turns before ordering, rather than relying only on the bedroom’s floor space. The split service is available on the oak version only.
