About this product
Acclaimed director Kim Jee-woon (A BITTERSWEET LIFE, I SAW THE DEVIL) brings you this modern adaptation of the classic Korean folktale Janghwa Hongryeon jeon, the first South Korean film to be screened in American theatres. Following Su-mi’s (Lim Soo-jung) release from a mental institution, she returns home with her father (Kim Kap-soo) and her younger sister, Su-yeon (Moon Geun-young), only to be met with the coldness of her stepmother (Yum Jing-ah) and for the house to be plagued by a dark supernatural presence. Every family has its dark secrets… what is theirs?
