Why this kit matters

The Space Shuttle Atlantis is a symbol of human achievement in space exploration. Launched in 1985, it completed 33 missions, including the final servicing mission to the Hubble Space Telescope. Atlantis played a crucial role in the construction of the International Space Station, making it an integral part of space history.

As the fourth operational shuttle, Atlantis was named after a two-masted sailing ship that conducted oceanic research in the 1930s. Its legacy continues to inspire future generations of explorers and scientists.
