Overview

Unleashed in 1986, the Porsche 959 was a road-going version of a 'Gruppe B' rally car concept and a true forerunner to modern all-wheel-drive supercars. It was packed with cutting-edge technology, including a 450hp twin-turbocharged 6-cylinder boxer engine and a computer-controlled 4WD system. The 959 made an indelible mark on motoring history as a legendary high-performance machine.

This 1/24 scale kit from Tamiya is a detailed replica of the iconic German supercar. The model features a detailed depiction of the flat-six boxer engine, which can be viewed under the openable rear engine hood.
