Overview

The Cromwell Mk.IV was a fast and effective British cruiser tank that served with distinction from the Normandy landings of June 1944 through to the end of the war. Its high speed, a result of its powerful Meteor engine and reliable Christie suspension, made it ideal for the rapid advances made by Allied armoured divisions across France and into Germany.

This 1/35 scale kit from Tamiya is a detailed replica of the Cromwell Mk.IV. It accurately captures the tank's distinctive riveted armour and turret, and includes parts to depict features unique to the Normandy campaign, such as the "Normandy cowl" exhaust ducts and front-mounted hedgerow cutters. To complete the model, the kit includes a tank crewman figure and five different marking options.
