Overview

The "Dingo" was a fast and agile British armoured scout car used extensively throughout World War II. Its compact size, surprisingly thick armour, and excellent cross-country manoeuvreability made it ideal for the dangerous roles of reconnaissance and command. The Dingo served in every theatre where the British Army fought, from the deserts of North Africa to the battlefields of Northwest Europe.

This 1/48 scale kit from Tamiya is a detailed replica of the famous Dingo Mk.II. A key feature of this series, the kit includes a die-cast metal chassis which provides realistic weight and a solid foundation for the model. It includes an accurately detailed interior, the option to build the folding roof in the open or closed position, two crew figures in realistic poses, and markings to recreate a vehicle that saw combat in Europe.
