About this product
Well-to-do undercover man John Steed has a flair for elegant clothes, an eye for the comedy wrench and a not-too-fastidious ruthlessness in getting his own way. Anthropologist Cathy Gale has passionate integrity, beautiful idealism and cares about people. Steed can cajole Cathy into anything that takes them to the heart of a fiendish plot which frequently leads to clashes over the callousness of his methods.
This collection celebrates the Cathy Gale years of the incredibly popular and enduring action series, The Avengers, starring Patrick Macnee and Honor Blackman. Featuring every episode from Series 2 and 3, this 16-disc set sees Steed's occasional operatives Dr. Martin King and nightclub singer Venus Smith join him on select investigations - plus - every surviving episode of Series 1 is included where Steed is paired with Dr. David Keel.
