After announcing themselves with the breakout EP Discount Fireworks, Roman Candle spent the next few years refining their sound and expanding their reach. Their recent run of singles, “Fire In the Night Sky Forever,” “This Band Has Led Me To Places I Wouldn’t Go With a Gun,” and “Nothing Is Original”, showcases the band’s sharpened emotional focus and their ability to balance chaos with clarity. In January 2026, they released “Can We Watch Something Happy?”, a powerful track rooted in Piper’s personal experiences, further solidifying the band’s reputation for striking, unfiltered storytelling.
