Where We Are

With Where We Are, prolific pianist, composer and podcaster Chad Lawson presents a new solo piano album inspired by the conversations, stories, and shared vulnerabilities of countless individuals who have found solace in his music and podcast during their most challenging times.

At its core, the album represents a journey from solitude to solidarity—from individual experiences to shared realities. The essence of Where We Are lies in its title—it's a declaration that no one is alone in their struggles, joys, or moments of introspection. These songs form a musical sanctuary, crafted to meet you wherever you might find yourself in life's vast spectrum of experiences and offer a gentle reprieve. It’s an invitation to pause, reflect, and find comfort in the knowledge that we are all navigating this journey together. This album is about presence—being truly present with our emotions, with each other, and with the world around us. Where We Are is more than an album; it's a call to unite, heal, and inspire a sense of community through the power of music.
